End of Year Message

Graduation end of year

Dear MUSD Families and Staff,

Today marks the culmination of months of learning, growth, perseverance, and achievement. Across our schools, students have challenged themselves academically, explored new interests, built meaningful relationships, and reached important milestones. From our youngest learners to the members of the Class of 2026, each student has contributed to the vibrant learning communities that make our schools special.

As we reflect on the year, I am especially grateful to our families for entrusting MUSD with the education, care, and well-being of your children. We recognize that student success is made possible through strong partnerships between home and school. Whether supporting learning at home, attending school events, serving on committees, volunteering in classrooms, chaperoning field trips, or helping make school celebrations possible, your involvement enriches our schools and strengthens our community. Thank you for the countless ways you have supported our students and staff throughout the year.

I am equally grateful for our dedicated certificated and classified staff and administrators. Every day, they show up with a shared commitment to meeting the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of students. Their expertise, compassion, and unwavering dedication create welcoming learning environments where students are supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. The impact of their work extends far beyond the classroom and is felt throughout our entire community.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2026 and their families. Graduation is a significant milestone that reflects years of hard work and support from family members, teachers, and mentors. We are proud of your accomplishments and excited to see the many paths you will pursue in the future. Wherever your journey takes you, you will always be a part of the MUSD family.

To our returning families, thank you for your continued partnership and trust and we look forward to welcoming you back in August. I wish all of our students, families, and staff a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer. Thank you for a wonderful school year.

Sincerely,
Janelle Eyet
Interim Superintendent
